Each student will choose for study and analysis three titles from the first category (“Foundations of Comparative Literature”), three titles from the second, and three titles each from four of the remaining categories.  In each case, other, appropriate titles not on this list may be substituted in consultation with the examiner.  The student shall present his or her choices to the M.A. examiner at least two months before the date of the examination.
